Hi, I’m Jeffrey G, the founder of Caring Survival Preparedness, and I’m very happy you’re visiting my website today. Be sure to check back. There is a lot to digest in one sitting, and I’m always adding new Posts that I hope will be beneficial.
For years, I’ve been passionate about speaking up on topics close to my heart. Things have definitely not always gone as hoped; nevertheless, I’m driven to make a positive impact for as long as I have breath in me.
We all have the capability to spark change, yet striking that chord in the world can sometimes feel like a monumental task. I graduated with a BS degree in biblical studies, filled with dreams and aspirations. But as life happens, the best-laid plans often give way to reality. My journey took a slight detour into the world of transportation and warehouse positions, where I dedicated several decades of hard work before retiring.
Many people believe Christians are always supposed to be happy and trouble-free…but, as a Christian myself, I hold the belief that crises and chaos are not just likely but inevitable, much in the same way storms arise irrespective of our readiness (John 16:33). Whether you interpret these events as prophecies coming to fruition or simply as the realistic throes of an unpredictable world, my message is clear: survival preparedness is essential.
Looking around, it’s evident that adversity spares no one. Disasters both big and small impact lives globally—whether it’s personal turmoil or widespread events that affect entire communities, such as the recent so-called Pandemic.
It’s this perspective that stirs a fervent hope within me; a hope that through Caring Survival Preparedness, you’ll find inspiration and resources to prepare for any looming crisis, extend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors, and most importantly, support those who are desperately in need or facing homelessness. We should all have mindsets of emergency disaster preparedness…not out of fear, but out of caring and love.
But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. – I Timothy 5:8, NKJV
He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given. – Proverbs 19:17, NKJV
My Mission at Caring Survival Preparedness
At Caring Survival Preparedness, I’m committed to a simple yet powerful premise: Disaster preparedness for a family and support for others in need, homeless or otherwise. In the midst of chaos, whether it be from natural disasters, man-made chaos, economic downturns, or any unforeseen emergencies, my aim is to instill resilience and compassion in communities across all levels.
My vision for you, for all of us, is readiness. I want to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to fend off the disruption that comes with crises and, more so, to lend a strong helping hand to others.
Just as emergency drills prepare us for the unexpected, I wish to see individuals and families building up their own survival gear supplies, so they are free from the hardship of the unknown.
Disclaimer: While I do personally set aside for emergencies, I am not a survival expert. I am a Survival researcher and practicioner, and a prophecy watcher who is providing information and resources so that each person can take action to prepare for themselves and others in their own way. Emergency disaster preparedness will be key in the not-too-distant future (if you haven’t already had to face great hardships).
Taking action is pivotal. It starts with the small and big steps at home and extends to offering assistance in our neighborhoods, and then beyond. It’s about the collective power we have when we unite in preparedness and compassion, facing challenges not in isolation, but together.
Each of us must decide for ourselves how we can make a difference in the lives of others, not just ourselves as we gather survival foods supplies and other disaster essentials. On this website, I’ll be providing tips to prepare for various disasters, including links with options to purchase various supplies or ebooks with even better resources. But however you prefer to obtain emergency supplies, just start doing it, please!
Consider purchasing food with a 25-year shelf life
Prepare food supplies the way our ancestors and the ancients did.
Amidst it all, the plight of the homeless is not to be forgotten. They are often the most affected when disaster strikes and the least able to recover. We aspire to offer a beacon of hope and practical pathways for those who are struggling. Together, we can make a monumental difference, both preemptively and in the aftermath of crises.
But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. – Hebrews 13:16, NKJV
17 And whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother has need and shuts up his compassion from him, how does the love of God dwell in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue only, but in deed and in truth. – I John 3:17,18, RGT
I’d like to thank you sincerely for taking the time to visit and learn more about Caring Survival Preparedness. I’m hopeful that our shared efforts will inspire and empower you—whether in concrete planning or in the spirit of giving back. This is more than a mission; it’s a collective journey. Together, let’s stand ready for whatever may come.

Your page has kind of lit a fire under me, I really worry about the homeless, but I don’t have any idea what the solution is. You give a money handout, but you don’t know if they will use it for food or a bottle of liquor. I believe the answer to be more and better organized social programs. Where I live there are homeless shelters for people to get a decent night’s sleep and food lines for people to get a good meal. But I think there needs to be more. I don’t think everyone is being taken care of, for one. Please give me some guidance on what I can do. Do I need to go to a city council meeting, talk to my alderperson or what. Oh, I know I could always volunteer at the soup kitchen. But I feel that is not enough! I want to see a solution, not a crutch.
As far as preparedness, we had a Derecho hit our town at the end of June 2023, Trees were down everywhere, you couldn’t drive anywhere. But my neighborhood got to work as the rain was ceasing. We had two blockages on our street. Neighbors came out with their chainsaws and had the blockages cleared in 30 to 45 minutes. Later on, when you could get out in your car, you could see where there were literally hundreds of road blockages that had been cleared away! I was real proud of my town.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply. I used to hand out gift certificates, bags of burgers, and such by the riverfront where I live. After I became disabled, I just drive by people with the signs and hand out a $20 bill. Like you, I hope they will use it the best way possible. I like to buy certain things in bulk right now, so that when a crisis does hit, I can help both family and homeless people with my extra supply. When my canned food starts getting closer to date, I donate it to a local homeless ministry. I also buy a bit of food with a 25 year shelf life that is likely going to be given out to others in need. I keep ordering it when there is a BOGO Deal.
I love how your community pitched in to get the roads clear during your emergency. That’s the kind of mentality I’d like to see when a disaster hits around me.
Take care,
Jeff
Hi Jeffrey,
I admire your focus on disaster preparedness and supporting the homeless. It’s clear that preparedness is crucial in an unpredictable world, and your mission to equip families and help those in need is both necessary and commendable. Your approach to blending practical readiness with compassion sets a powerful example.
Keep up the great work!
Hi Jeffrey,
I’m really inspired by your dedication to making a positive impact through Caring Survival Preparedness! Your perspective on preparedness being driven by care and love rather than fear is refreshing and much needed in today’s world. I appreciate your commitment to not only helping families prepare for crises but also extending that care to those who are often forgotten, like the homeless.
It’s great to see someone using their life experiences and beliefs to build a community around such an important cause. I look forward to seeing how your website grows and the resources you’ll provide. Thank you for taking this important step to help others, and I’m excited to follow along on this journey with you!
Wishing you all the best in this mission!
Warm regards,
Scott
Thank you Scott for your very encouraging words. We need to be prepared for anything these days, but too many people are focused just on themselves when they set aside supplies. We really need to be ready to help others in need when a crisis hits. I’m glad WA gave me the opportunity to blend together my passion for “prepping”, if you will, with helping others in a crisis situation, and driving that motivation to others who visit my site.
